| Spray the entire fuselage with an adhesive such as Elmers Spray Adhesive, or 3M77 or 3M 08074 spray adhesive. Let the fuselage sit for about 15 minutes before starting to cover with tape. Elmers Spray Adhesive and 3M77 is available at places like Home Depot and Lowes. Elmers is foam safe but if you decide to use 3M77 be very careful they have chanced the formula and it now includes acetone which can melt foam. Spray the 3M77 on lightly and keep the can at least 12 inches from the foam to let the acetone evaporate before it hits the foam. 3M 08074 is an automotive trim adhesive and usually can only be found at wholesale auto parts businesses but not at your local Auto Zone or Pep Boys. |
