So that you end up with this. One of the important things to remember is to make shallow cuts. It's a lot easier to make a second cut to take more off then to have to glue some back on. |

The advantage of a sanding board instead of loose sheet of sandpaper held in your hand is you will be able to sand level the length of the fuselage and not simply follow the contour of the rough cuts you made with the knife |
